David Zipp

David Zipp is an experienced attorney currently serving as an Assistant Attorney General in the Child Support Division of the Texas Attorney General's Office since June 2022. Prior to this role, Zipp practiced law at David A. Zipp, P.C. from May 2011 to June 2022, after returning to private practice following positions as an Assistant Criminal District Attorney at the Gregg County District Attorney's Office and as an Assistant District Attorney at the Cameron County District Attorney's Office. Zipp also held leadership roles in the Illinois Boaters Association and its associated Political Action Committee, as well as serving as President & CEO of Zipp To Court LLC. Educational credentials include a Doctor of Law degree from Southern Illinois University Simmons Law School and advanced degrees in Political Science and Criminal Justice from Eastern Kentucky University.
