Ilisa Burke

Ilisa Burke currently serves as the Director of Attorney Recruitment and Retention for the Texas Attorney General, a position held since February 2024, where responsibilities include establishing recruitment processes, developing strategies to attract talented attorneys, and overseeing talent fulfillment. Prior to this role, Ilisa was the Delivery Manager/Customer Success at STAND 8 Technology Services, managing a recruiting team and fostering relationships within the organization. Experience as a Senior Technical Recruiter was gained at both Zilker Partners and Providence Partners, following a significant tenure at Leander ISD as a Mathematics Teacher/Team Lead. Ilisa's early career included a Managing Partner role at S I B Associates and a Senior Technical Recruiter position at TEKsystems. Ilisa holds a Bachelor’s degree in History from UCLA.
