Sarah Harp

Sarah Harp is an experienced legal professional currently serving as an Assistant Attorney General in the Criminal Appeals Division at the Texas Attorney General's Office since August 2014. In addition to this role, Sarah has held various leadership positions, including Director and Secretary of the Austin Bar Association, Director and Communications Committee Chair at the Texas Young Lawyers Association, and a District Nominating Committee Member at the Texas Bar Foundation. Sarah's previous experience includes serving as a law clerk and licensed legal intern at notable legal organizations, where contributions involved representing clients in court and leading initiatives such as the Debtor's Prison Project. Educational achievements include a Juris Doctor from The University of Tulsa College of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Anthropology from the University of Oklahoma, along with advanced studies at the University of Oxford.
