Shannon Ryman

Shannon Ryman is a dedicated legal professional with extensive experience in tort law and litigation. Currently serving as Assistant Attorney General and Special Counsel at the Texas Attorney General's Office since September 2018, Ryman represents state agencies in various tort-related cases. Prior to this role, Ryman was Assistant General Counsel at the Employees Retirement System of Texas, collaborating with the Texas Attorney General's Office and other entities. Ryman's litigation expertise also includes time spent as an Assistant Attorney General in the Tax Division, and as an attorney at various law firms focusing on health care reimbursement, personal injury, and commercial litigation. Ryman holds a Juris Doctor degree from New England Law | Boston and a Bachelor of Science in Business from California Lutheran University.
