Viraj Kulkarni

Viraj Kulkarni is a highly experienced scientist with a focus on molecular biology and immunology. Currently serving as a Staff Scientist at the Texas Biomedical Research Institute since April 2016 and as a Scientist at the Ragon Institute of MGH, MIT, and Harvard since July 2014, Kulkarni has a robust background in designing DNA vectors for HIV/SIV immunogens and working on DNA-based vaccines at the National Institutes of Health and the National Cancer Institute. With a Ph.D. in Microbiology from the University of Mumbai, obtained in 2005, and extensive experience in molecular biology techniques, Kulkarni's research contributions include the study of epigenetic alterations in oral cancers.
