Van Hua

Van Hua, LMSW, has extensive experience in the field of social work and system analysis, currently serving as a Business System Analyst II at Texas Children's Health Plan since September 2016. Responsibilities include managing system optimization projects and providing strategic recommendations within both the Information Support and Care Coordination Departments. Van has also held roles as a Project Manager and Advanced Social Worker Service Coordinator during tenure at Texas Children’s Health Plan. Prior experience includes positions at Fort Bend ISD, where duties ranged from District Social Worker to Title III Check and Connect Social Worker. Van holds a Master’s Degree in Social Work and a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science and Government from the University of Houston, as well as an Associate’s Degree in General Studies from Wharton County Junior College.
