Jonathan Benjamin-Alvarado

Jonathan Benjamin-Alvarado is the Senior Advisor & Chief Inclusion Officer at Texas Christian University. Jonathan has held this position since May 2022. Prior to that, they were the Assistant Vice Chancellor for Student Success at the University of Nebraska at Omaha from September 2000 to May 2022. Before that, they were a Senior Research Associate at the University of Georgia from January 1997 to December 2000. Jonathan started their career as a Project Manager at the Center for Nonproliferation Studies from January 1990 to December 1993.

Jonathan Benjamin-Alvarado received their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Political Science from The University of Georgia. Prior to that, they earned their MA in Intl Policy Studies from Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey and their Bachelor's degree in International Relations and Affairs from the same school. Jonathan also studied Political Science and Government at University of California, Los Angeles and Santa Barbara City College and UC Santa Barbara.
