H Karen Fastenau Meisel is an experienced attorney currently serving in the Enforcement Division of the Texas Department of Motor Vehicles since July 2019. Prior professional roles include Attorney/Mediator at Meisel Mediation & Law, Managing Attorney at the Public Utility Commission of Texas, and General Counsel for the Texas Veterans Commission. H Karen has extensive experience in legal matters related to family, elder care, employment, landlord/tenant issues, and general law. H Karen began a legal career as a Paralegal in the United States Air Force before obtaining a Juris Doctor degree from The University of Texas School of Law. Additional educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Texas Lutheran University and completion of the Governors Executive Development Course in 2015.
