Wendy Barron

Wendy Barron is an experienced information technology leader currently serving as Treasurer and Board Member for TASSCC since September 2022. Barron has held significant roles at the Texas Department of Motor Vehicles since November 2019, progressing from Deputy Chief Information Officer to Chief Information Officer. Prior experience includes serving as Information Technology Director and Project Manager at the State Office of Administrative Hearings from May 2016 to October 2019, as well as Information Technology Director at the Texas Water Development Board from July 2000 to April 2016. Barron's educational background includes a Master of Public Administration from Texas State University and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Computer Information Systems from the same institution, along with studies at Texas A&M University.
