Adam Wood

Adam Wood, WPIT, is an experienced environmental professional with a strong background in environmental planning and compliance. Currently serving as an Environmental Project Planner II at the Texas Department of Transportation since January 2022, Adam has previously worked as an Environmental Scientist II at Pape-Dawson Engineers and as an Environmental Scientist at Mott MacDonald, where responsibilities included conducting wetland delineations and habitat characterizations in accordance with federal regulations. Adam's extensive experience also includes serving as Environmental Science Manager at STV, focusing on wetland-related permits and endangered species assessments. Earlier career roles included Associate Environmental Scientist at Ecology and Environment, Inc., overseeing biological monitoring for pipeline projects, and Environmental Scientist at Quadrant Consultants, performing wetland studies. Adam holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Science from Allegheny College.
