Kurt Ahlhorn

Kurt Ahlhorn has extensive work experience in government roles, specializing in financial management, technical projects, and policy coordination. Kurt has worked at the Texas Department of Transportation since 2016, holding positions such as Special Projects Coordinator and Financial & Technical Projects Lead. Prior to that, they worked at the Texas Senate, where they served as a Bill Analysis Coordinator and Research Associate. Kurt has a strong background in analyzing legislation and advising on IT needs to improve internal processes.

Kurt Ahlhorn earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Texas State University in 2008. Kurt went on to complete a Master of Arts in Political Science at the same university from 2009 to 2011. In 2020, they obtained an Associate of Applied Science in LAN Security Administration from Austin Community College.
