Ragab Mousa

Ragab Mousa, Ph.D, P.E., PTOE, is a seasoned transportation engineer with extensive experience in highway safety and operations. Currently employed at the Texas Department of Transportation since September 2021, Ragab Mousa previously served as Project Manager for Transportation Planning & Development at the Ministry of Transport in Oman from May 2014 to August 2021, overseeing road project design and policy development. Prior to this, Ragab Mousa held multiple academic and managerial roles, including Professor at Cairo University, Assistant Minister of Transport in Egypt, and Technical Manager at Renardet S.A. With a solid educational background including a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering-Transportation from the University of Illinois Chicago, Ragab Mousa has significantly contributed to transportation education, project management, and infrastructure development across various countries.
