Sue Theiss

Sue Theiss has extensive experience in project development and environmental affairs, currently serving as the Advanced Project Development Director for the Houston District at the Texas Department of Transportation since April 2006. Previously, Sue held the positions of Deputy Director for the Environmental Affairs Division and Environmental Supervisor within the Advanced Project Development team. Prior to joining the Texas Department of Transportation, Sue worked as the Conservation Section Manager at JT3/CH2M Hill from July 2002 to April 2006. Sue earned a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Government from The University of Texas at Austin, where studies took place from 1985 to 1988.
