Marian Bebec

Marian Bebec has a diverse work experience in the banking and credit union industry. Marian started their career in 2011 as a Placement Agent at Atlas Placement, where they worked until February 2015. Marian then joined Bank of America as a Personal Banker from February 2015 to February 2016. After that, Marian worked at First Tech Federal Credit Union as a Premier Financial Representative and later as a Deposit Product Manager II & Sr. Product Manager from February 2016 to August 2019. Marian then moved to TDECU, where they held several roles including Interim Houston Market Director from December 2019 to March 2020, Interim Vice President of Wealth Management from May 2020 to January 2021, and Director of Business Planning and Implementation from August 2019 to July 2021. Currently, they are working as the Director of Strategic Research at TDECU since July 2021.

Marian Bebec's education history includes a range of academic pursuits and certifications. In 2022, Marian completed a series of courses at Harvard Extension School, earning Credentials of Readiness in Business Analytics, Economics for Managers, and Financial Accounting, with a focus on the MBA program. From 2019 to 2022, Marian pursued further studies at Harvard Business School Online, specializing in Strategy, Entrepreneurship & Innovation, and Leadership & Management as part of their MBA degree. In the same year, Marian also studied Blockchain and Money at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Prior to these experiences, Marian attended the College for Financial Planning between 2017 and 2019, where they obtained a degree in Finance and Financial Management Services, specifically an AWMA certification. Marian's earlier academic endeavors include a Bachelor of Arts in Graphic Design Advertising and Marketing from The Art Institutes in 2006 and participation in the Pre-Architecture Program at the Frank Lloyd Wright School of Architecture at Taliesin West, hosted by Glendale Community College from 2001 to 2004.

Additionally, Marian has obtained several certifications. These include a Credential of Readiness (CORe) from Harvard Extension School in January 2023, an Adult Mental Health First Aid Responder certification from the National Council for Mental Wellbeing in November 2022, and various certifications from Harvard Business School Online, such as Negotiation Mastery, Power and Influence for Positive Impact, Design Thinking and Innovation, Disruptive Strategy, Strategy Execution, and Sustainable Business Strategy, all attained between 2021 and 2022.
