Seth Payne

Seth Payne has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and companies. Seth started their career as an Attorney at Leyh, Payne & Mallia, PLLC in 2009, where they focused on commercial and business litigation, handling various aspects of cases from inception to trial. Payne also served as Vice President - Associate General Counsel at TDECU, where they acted as the chief legal advisor and head of Legal, leading the company's legal strategy, managing all litigation and legal risks, and counseling senior leadership and the board of directors on legal issues and corporate governance matters. Prior to their role as Vice President, Payne worked as a Director, Associate General Counsel at TDECU, advising internal clients on legal issues, managing litigation, and providing guidance on regulatory matters related to product launches, marketing, and financial privacy. Payne joined TDECU in 2019 as a Corporate Counsel and was promoted to higher positions within the company over time.

Seth Payne obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Finance from Texas Tech University - Rawls College of Business from 1999 to 2003. Subsequently, they pursued higher education at Oklahoma City University School of Law from 2006 to 2009 and obtained a Juris Doctor degree.
