Juan Pablo Martínez

Juan Pablo Martínez is a seasoned education professional with extensive experience in talent acquisition, workforce management, and strategic initiatives. Currently serving as the Director of Talent Acquisition, Compensation, and Workforce Management at the Texas Education Agency since June 2018, Juan Pablo has also held the role of Director of Workforce Planning and Culture. Prior to this, Juan Pablo worked at TNTP as a Site Manager and contributed to Partner Engagement for Teach For All in Argentina and Colombia. Early career roles include positions at Houston ISD, where responsibilities spanned from Literacy Coach to Bilingual Teacher, as well as serving as an Americorps Member with Teach For America. Juan Pablo holds an Executive Masters in Public Leadership from The University of Texas at Austin and a Bachelor’s degree in International Studies from the University of St. Thomas (TX).
