Matthew J. Simcock

Matthew J. Simcock currently serves as the Executive Director of Education Service Center Strategy at the Texas Education Agency since December 2017. Prior to this role, Matthew held various leadership positions at KIPP San Antonio Public Schools, including Chief Operating Officer, where responsibilities encompassed organization-wide change and data usability initiatives. Matthew's experience also includes serving as a Broad Resident at The Broad Center for the Management of School Systems, a Senior Consultant at Deloitte Consulting LLP, and roles at Chicago Public Schools, Navigant Consulting, and Hewitt Associates. Matthew J. Simcock holds a Master of Education Leadership from The Broad Center, a Master of Public Policy from the University of Chicago, and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics, German, and Business Administration from Augustana College.
