Alfredo Loza is a highly motivated individual pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering at The University of Texas at Austin. Currently serving as a Levitation Engineer at Texas Guadaloop, Alfredo is involved in the research and development of a hyperloop pod, focusing on electrodynamic magnetic levitation. As a member of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers, Alfredo contributes to event planning as an IM Coordinator. Previous experience includes a Manufacturing Engineering Co-Op at Ascend Performance Materials, a Chemicals Intern at Wood Mackenzie, and various leadership roles within Phi Gamma Nu, including Recruitment Chair and Alpha 180 Lead, where Alfredo developed recruitment strategies and mentorship programs. Additional research experience includes converting waste oil into biodiesel and exploring pharmaceutical engineering applications of 3D and 4D printing under a faculty advisor.
