Briar Deen

Briar Deen, DrPH, serves as the Director of Community Health Analytics at Texas Health Resources, where responsibilities include conducting epidemiological surveillance, analyzing quality outcomes, and developing disease prevention policies. With prior experience as an Epidemiologist at Denton County Public Health, Briar led disease investigations and collaborated with state health professionals. Earlier roles include Outcomes Data Analyst at Baylor Scott & White Health and various academic positions, demonstrating a strong background in epidemiology and public health analytics. Briar holds a Doctor of Public Health in Epidemiology from the University of Nebraska Medical Center and a Master of Public Health from UNTHSC College of Public Health, supplemented by a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology from Texas Tech University.
