Carol Riemer

Carol Riemer has extensive experience in accounting within the healthcare sector, currently serving as the Director of Accounting at Texas Health Resources since April 2018. Previously, Riemer held the position of Manager of Governmental Accounting at Methodist Health System from April 1992 to April 2018, overseeing financial operations related to Medicare, Medicaid, and managed care programs, including budgeting, forecasting, and compliance monitoring. Early career experience includes serving as Controller for Easter Seals, managing accounting and reporting for a nonprofit therapy facility, and as Internal Auditor at Memorial Hospital of Garland. Riemer earned an MBA in Accounting from the University of North Texas between 1982 and 1985.
