Dhruvangkumar Modi

Chair, Physician Leadership Council at Texas Health Resources

Dhruvangkumar Modi, M.D., M.P.H., is chair of the Physician Leadership Council (PLC) for Texas Health Resources. In this role, he leads physicians on the medical staffs of Texas Health hospitals through the challenges and opportunities of the healthcare environment. The PLC represents its colleagues at the system level and works with them to help shape the future of healthcare delivery in North Texas.

Modi is president of the medical staff and medical director of the intensive care unit at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Denton. Prior to serving in this role, he was vice chief of the medical staff.

Modi currently sits on the Inpatient Physician Advisory Committee for Texas Health, the Medical Executive Committee at Texas Health Denton and a host of other committees within the organization.

Modi received his medical degree from Government Medical College, Surat in India and holds a Master of Public Health degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. He completed his residency at the University of Illinois College of Medicine Peoria and a fellowship at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health.
