Kirk Workman

Kirk Workman is a seasoned healthcare professional with extensive experience in social work and care transitions. Currently serving as the Director of Care Transitions at Texas Health Resources since August 2014, Kirk previously held the role of Director of Family Services at Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children from January 2012 to August 2014, where responsibilities included supervising multidisciplinary staff and enhancing discharge planning practices. Prior experience includes a Social Work Manager position at Parkland Hospital, managing a large team and improving patient care processes, and serving as the Director of Adult Therapy Services at West Texas Rehabilitation Center, overseeing therapy programs and departmental budgets. Kirk’s career also includes roles in bereavement services and social work internships, complemented by advanced education in social work from the University of Houston and Harding University.
