Christopher Strader

Cardiothoracic Surgery Fellow at Texas Heart Institute

Christopher Strader, MD, MPH, is currently a Cardiothoracic Surgery Fellow at both Baylor College of Medicine and The Texas Heart Institute as of August 2023. Prior experience includes serving as Chief Resident and General Surgery Resident at UMass Memorial Medical Center from July 2015 to June 2023, and as a Paul Farmer Global Surgery Research Fellow at Harvard Medical School from July 2018 to June 2020. Christopher also worked as a Research Coordinator at Brigham and Women's Hospital in 2013 and at the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard from 2005 to 2007 as a Molecular Biology Production Group Coordinator. Academic credentials include an MD from Boston University School of Medicine and an MPH from Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health.
