Anne Chandler

Anne Chandler is an experienced legal professional with a strong background in immigration law and advocacy. Currently serving as the Founding Executive Director at Texas Immigration Law Council since June 2023, Anne previously held the position of Executive Director at Houston Volunteer Lawyers from June 2020 to April 2023. Additionally, Anne spent over a decade at the Tahirih Justice Center, where leadership was provided as Executive Director from September 2009 to June 2020. Prior to these roles, Anne contributed expertise as part of the Immigration Clinic at the University of Houston Law Center from 2002 to 2009.
