Faisal Faruque

Faisal Faruque is an experienced engineer with a strong background in process ownership and engineering within the semiconductor industry. Currently serving as a Senior Engineer at Texas Instruments since October 2021, Faisal previously held positions as a Process Owner at Micron Technology and IM Flash Technologies, where responsibilities included yield and equipment performance improvement, process qualification, and safety training. Earlier experience includes internships and teaching roles related to semiconductor processes and research at the University of Utah, complemented by academic qualifications including an MSc in Electrical and Computer Engineering and a BS in Electrical and Electronic Engineering. Faisal's research interests include advanced semiconductor materials and applications, particularly in the development of multi-layer silicon-based solar cells.
