Cassandra Fortson

Cassandra Fortson has extensive experience in sales, marketing, and administrative roles across various industries. Currently serving as a Sales and Marketing Coordinator at Texas Monthly since September 2019, Cassandra manages mail, coordinates deliveries, and oversees staff updates and ordering supplies. Prior to this, Cassandra was self-employed as an On-call Remote Administrative Assistant and worked as an Inventory Manager at Trudy's Texas Star, Inc., where responsibilities included managing accounts payable and inventory for multiple restaurants. Cassandra also held the position of General Manager at Hills Cafe, handling profit and loss reports, scheduling, and sales opportunities. Earlier career highlights include clerical work at Wiggins, Richard, Romano & Thorson and an internship at CBS/Entercom Radio, focusing on board operations and audio podcasting. Cassandra holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Radio and Television Broadcasting from San Francisco State University.
