Sarah Tompkins

Sarah Tompkins is an experienced legal professional, currently serving as Legal Counsel for the Texas Municipal League since March 2022. Prior to this role, Sarah was a Legislative Attorney for the Texas Legislative Council, where responsibilities included drafting legislation on property tax, general tax, management districts, local government, insurance, and labor from September 2016 to March 2022. Sarah also contributed time as a volunteer at Volunteer Legal Services of Central Texas, providing pro bono legal assistance, and worked as a Briefing Attorney at the Texas Court of Criminal Appeals, focusing on complex criminal cases.
