Michael Nichols

Michael Nichols is a seasoned web development professional with extensive experience in full stack and front-end roles. Currently serving as Front End Lead at the Texas Municipal Retirement System since August 2023, Michael previously worked at General Motors as a Full Stack Web Developer from January 2016 to June 2023, and as a Web Architect for Lifesize, a division of Logitech, from October 2014 to August 2015. Michael's earlier career includes positions as a Senior Web Developer at 3M, a freelance Web Developer, and roles at faithHighway, Apple, and Harte-Hanks, Inc., among others. With a foundational education in Computer Science from Austin Community College and a strong military background as a Signal Support System Specialist in the US Army, Michael possesses a robust technical skill set and leadership experience.
