The Texas Municipal Retirement System (TMRS), based in Austin, Texas, is a statewide public retirement system that provides retirement, disability, and death benefits for employees of participating Texas municipalities (887 cities as of 12/31/18). Our organization has over $28 billion in assets (per the System CAFR, 2018) that are invested for the long-term benefit of our members.
