Charles S. White III

Charles S. White, III, M.D., serves as executive vice president and managing director supporting the Dallas, Fort Worth, DFW West and East Texas regions of Texas Oncology. He has served as a vice president of Texas Oncology since 1988, on the board for Texas Oncology since 1986, and as an officer since 1987. Dr. White also serves on the executive committee for Texas Oncology, and is a member of The US Oncology Network's National Policy Board and Executive Committee of Pharmacy and Therapeutics.

Dr. White specializes in medical oncology and hematology. He also served as president of the medical staff at Medical City Dallas in Dallas, Texas. Dr. White is a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology, Dallas County Medical Society, Texas Medical Association, American Society of Hematology, and Texas Society of Medical Oncology.

He earned his medical degree from University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, in 1969. He completed his internship and residency in internal medicine at Dallas Veterans Administration Hospital, Dallas, Texas, in 1970 and 1971, respectively. Dr. White served a fellowship in hematology and medical oncology at George Washington University Hospital, in Washington, D.C., from 1974-1976. He earned a Bachelor of Arts from Harvard University in 1965.
