Debbie Garza

Debbie Garza has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over 25 years. Debbie started their career in 1992 as a pharmacist at Walgreens and progressed to become a Pharmacy Manager and District Pharmacy Supervisor. From 2003 to 2015, they held various leadership roles at Walgreens, including Director of Health Care Relations and Divisional Vice President for Government and Community Relations. During their time at Walgreens, they built and led teams for federal, state, and local government affairs, public policy, pharmacy affairs, and community relations in all 50 states, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. In 2016, they worked as an Independent Healthcare Consultant before joining the Texas Pharmacy Association in 2017 as their Chief Executive Officer.

Debbie Garza earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Pharmacy from The University of Texas at Austin in 1992.
