Rachael Looney has a strong background in the restaurant industry, with experience spanning over two decades. Rachael began their career as the General Manager of Saloon Steakhouse The in 1999, where they were responsible for managing daily operations, overseeing a 200-seat upscale steakhouse, and developing an extensive wine list. Rachael worked there until 2002.
After that, Rachael joined Bennigan's as the General Manager, where they directed the daily operations of a high-volume casual dining restaurant with a full bar. Rachael exceeded company parameters in terms of budgeting and marketability and was also certified as a Training Center. Rachael worked in this role until 2007.
Since 2007, Rachael has been associated with Texas Roadhouse. Rachael initially joined as a Managing Partner and held this position for over a decade until 2020. During this time, they successfully managed various responsibilities and challenges. Rachael then transitioned into the role of Regional Manager of Field People Support for a year before becoming the Senior Director of Training and Development in 2022. In 2023, they were promoted to the position of Vice President of Training and Development, their current role at the company.
Rachael Looney obtained their Associate of Arts degree in Psychology from Harper College, which they attended from 1992 to 1995. Rachael also pursued a degree in Human Resource Management from Harper College, although the specific years of enrollment are unknown.
