Angela Vandenbroek

Angela VandenBroek, PhD, currently serves as an Assistant Professor of Anthropology at Texas State University, where responsibilities include teaching and supervising graduate and undergraduate students in qualitative research methods and anthropological theory. VandenBroek actively engages in volunteer academic service as a Web Producer for the Committee for the Anthropology of Science, Technology, & Computing, managing digital initiatives that foster community awareness in these fields. Prior research experience includes conducting fieldwork in Stockholm's innovation ecosystem as a Research Fellow for the American-Scandinavian Foundation and a Visiting Researcher at Stockholm University. Additional roles have included research assistance for the SUNY Research Foundation and instructional positions at various educational institutions, with a focus on integrating anthropological knowledge across disciplines. VandenBroek holds a PhD in Anthropology from Binghamton University, alongside an MA and BS from The University of Southern Mississippi and Grand Valley State University, respectively.
