Daniel Wescott

Daniel Wescott is an experienced professional in the field of anthropology, currently serving as the Director of the Forensic Anthropology Center at Texas State University since August 2011. Under this role, Daniel oversees a multifaceted facility focused on teaching, research, and community service in forensic anthropology. Prior to this position, Daniel worked as a human biologist at Florida International University from August 2009 to May 2011. Daniel earned a PhD in Anthropology from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, between 1996 and 2001, and holds a Bachelor's degree in Physical and Biological Anthropology from Wichita State University.
