Jennifer Porterfield

Jennifer Porterfield currently serves as an Associate Professor of Instruction and Associate Dean for Educator Preparation at Texas State University, positions held since August 2018. Prior to this, Jennifer was the Director of Special Education at KIPP Austin Public Schools from May 2010 to June 2018. Jennifer's academic credentials include a Doctor of Philosophy in Special Education from The University of Texas at Austin, obtained between 2007 and 2011, as well as a Master of Arts in Special Education and Teaching and a Bachelor of Arts in French Studies and History, both from Trinity University, completed in 1998 and 1997, respectively.
