Chris Duarte

Chris Duarte, MBA, currently serves as the Associate Director of Athletics Communications for Texas Tech Athletics, a position held since September 2023, overseeing communications for Texas Tech football, cross country, and a two-time NCAA National Champion track and field program. Previously, Chris held the role of Assistant Director, focusing on Texas Tech soccer along with cross country and track and field. Prior experience includes volunteer work as a team interpreter for the Fort Myers Mighty Mussels, communications assistant roles at Florida Gulf Coast University and Eastern Oregon University, and responsibilities with NESN and the Minnesota Twins. Chris holds a Bachelor of Science in Management from Florida Gulf Coast University and an MBA from Eastern Oregon University.
