Amalia Villalobos, MBA, currently serves as the Director of Budget and Finance at Texas Tech University, where expertise in financial management supports the fiscal health of multiple SBDC centers and programs. In addition to this role, Amalia operates as a Realtor with Fathom Realty, guiding clients through real estate transactions and ensuring effective collaboration with colleagues. Previously, Amalia was a Senior Project Manager at VxMED, successfully overseeing sales and research initiatives, and as an Educational Grants Consultant at Anchor RDG, LLC, contributed to program development and strategic planning. Amalia's career began in project management with Denver Public Schools, gaining insight into program management and coaching staff to enhance performance. Academic credentials include an MBA and a Master’s in Human Resource Management from the University of Maryland Global Campus, paired with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of Colorado Denver.
