Sarah Schiffecker

Sarah Schiffecker, Ph.D., serves as the Media Manager for the Journal of Global Higher Education, starting January 2025. In addition, Sarah has been the Assistant Director of International Graduate Student Affairs and a Lecturer at Texas Tech University since August 2017, where responsibilities have included teaching and assisting in various graduate courses. Sarah's editorial experience includes a role as Copyeditor for the Journal of Comparative & International Higher Education and formerly as Digital Communications Specialist for the Journal of International Students. Prior to these roles, Sarah worked as a German Instructor at DeutschAkademie Sprachschule Wien, focusing on language and cultural integration. Sarah holds a Ph.D. in Higher Education Administration and a Master's degree in German Studies from Texas Tech University, along with dual Bachelor's degrees in Cultural Anthropology and Slavic Languages from the University of Vienna.
