Ted Iglehart

Ted Iglehart has a diverse work experience spanning over several years in various technology-related roles. Ted started their career as a Support Specialist at The University of Texas at Austin, where they provided workstation support for desktop applications. Ted then worked as an Application Programmer at Dell, where they managed a departmental Novell network and developed customized software. As a Lead System Administrator at the Employees Retirement System of Texas, Ted served as the IT liaison and lead network administrator for investment operations. Ted also worked as a Senior System Analyst at BAE Systems, designing and implementing data centers. Ted later joined Techteam as a Principal Managing Partner, overseeing business development and operations in contract placements for public and private organizations. Ted then served as a Server Administrator at the Texas Education Agency, responsible for overseeing development, testing, and production servers. Currently, Ted works as the Director of Information Technology at the Texas Treasury Safekeeping Trust Company, managing the strategic and ongoing operations of the company's server infrastructure and IT systems.

Ted Iglehart earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from The University of Texas at Austin, where they studied from 1989 to 1993. In addition to their undergraduate education, Ted has obtained several certifications throughout their career. These include the Small Unmanned Aircraft System certification from the Federal Aviation Administration, which they obtained in January 2021. Ted is also a Chartered Financial Consultant®, having completed the program at The American College of Financial Services in September 2012. Ted holds the APMA® Accredited Portfolio Management Advisor certification from the College for Financial Planning, which they received in December 2011. Additionally, Ted obtained the AWMA® Accredited Wealth Management Advisor certification from the same institution in December 2010. In January 2010, they became an Amateur Radio Operator - Extra after obtaining the appropriate certification from the Federal Communications Commission. Lastly, Ted earned the AAMS® Accredited Asset Management Specialist certification from the College for Financial Planning in December 2009.
