Julie Libersat

Julie Libersat is an accomplished professional in the fields of art, design, and technology, currently serving as an Associate Professor at Texas Woman's University since September 2017. Previously, Julie held roles such as Assistant Professor and served as a Digital Fabrication Technician at the University of North Texas from January 2014 to June 2023. Julie is also a co-creator of Times Illustrated, an illustration blog that highlights significant historical events. Freelance design and illustration work include projects for a variety of clients, showcasing proficiency in both digital and traditional techniques. Julie’s educational background includes a Master’s Degree in Art Education and a Master of Fine Art in New Media from the University of North Texas, as well as a BFA in Painting from the Maryland Institute College of Art. Past experience also encompasses a senior designer position at Falken Europe, focusing on print design and brand identity.
