Kuntal Dasgupta is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in business leadership and management across multiple sectors, including rail, engineering, and industrial gear manufacturing. Currently serving as the Chief Business Officer for Global Supply & Component Business at Texmaco Rail & Engineering Limited, Kuntal's role focuses on developing and growing the component and aggregate business for passenger cars and freight wagons. Previous positions include SVP-Business Head at Bauer Gear Motor, where responsibilities included product manufacturing and expansion into new product ranges, and Business Head/Regional VP at Voith Turbo, managing P&L for the SAARC region. With a solid educational background, including an MBA from XLRI Jamshedpur and a B.E in Mechanical from M.S Ramaiah Institute of Technology, Kuntal has demonstrated a strong ability to drive business growth and operational efficiency throughout a diverse career spanning over three decades.
