Gavan Convery

Gavan Convery has over two decades of experience in the software and product management industry, currently serving as a Technical Product Manager at Texthelp since October 2001, with a focus on the Read&Write application designed to enhance learning and literacy skills. Previously, Gavan held the position of Software Developer, responsible for the design, development, testing, and maintenance of software applications using technologies such as C#, Visual Basic, ASP, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS. Prior to joining Texthelp, Gavan completed a 12-week placement as a Visual Basic Developer at AMT-Sybex, where responsibilities included developing software that interfaced with Microsoft Access and the Mincom Information Management System. Gavan holds an MSc in Computer Science from the University of Hertfordshire, a certification from BIC Systems in Computer Software Engineering, and a BSc in Information Management from Queen's University Belfast.
