Paul Brown started their work experience in 2001 as a Teacher and Technology Integrator at Chagrin Falls Exempted Village Schools, where they worked until 2005. In 2005, they joined Discovery Education UK as a Regional Sales Manager until 2007. Paul then joined Texthelp in 2007, where they held various roles including VP of Customer Accounts, Vice President of Sales, and Regional Sales Director until 2009. As Regional Sales Director, Paul Brown was responsible for overseeing sales, marketing, and managerial duties in a 15-state region in the Midwest. Paul successfully grew the territory by hiring, training, and managing additional sales representatives.

Paul Brown attended the University of Dayton from 1992 to 1996, where they pursued a degree in Communication Management. Paul then enrolled in John Carroll University from 2000 to 2001 and obtained a Master of Education degree in Elementary Education. In addition, they returned to the University of Dayton for their Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Management, which they completed during the same period as their initial attendance from 1992 to 1996.
