Willemijn Schellekens-Sikkema

Willemijn Schellekens-Sikkema is an experienced project manager and visual storyteller with a strong background in graphic design. Current roles include Project Manager for exhibitions at Tropenmuseum and Teylers Museum, where innovative and immersive projects are developed. Willemijnontwerp, founded in January 2023, focuses on visual communication and project management across diverse sectors, including museums and NGOs. Previous experience includes design and project management for UNIDO, as well as graphic design and illustration work with various organizations focused on social impact. Notable artistic contributions include storytelling installations for street theater, which have been showcased at over 50 European festivals. Willemijn holds a Master's degree in Graphic Design from Academie St. Joost and a Bachelor's degree from Willem de Kooning Academy.
