Bob Tarle

Bob Tarle is responsible for technology planning and support across the school. He works collaboratively with classroom teachers and support services to ensure thoughtful integration of technology, driven by pedagogy. Bob is helping to build a digital citizenship program with focus on the power and responsibility connected to engagement and discernment online. He has led local and national IT leadership research, and developed working partnerships with Ryerson's DMZ and Rotman's iThink Initiative. Bob came to TFS from TVO and TFO where he launched and managed an innovation incubator and was Director of Innovation & Partnerships. Fully bilingual, Bob has a Bachelor of Education from McGill and has completed postgraduate programs in journalism-new media and business innovation, at Sheridan College and U of T. A proud TFS parent, he also supports all-round development as both a mentor and basketball coach.
