Annebel van de Vrugt has a diverse work experience in the field of clinical research and medical science.

Annebel started their career in 2012 with a Master Thesis at UMC Utrecht, where they focused on the functions of Natural Killer T cells in atherosclerosis and obesity from a therapeutic perspective for cardiovascular diseases. Lastly, from 2012 to 2014, they continued their education at the Universiteit Utrecht, where they obtained a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Biomedical Sciences, specializing in the program Biology of Disease.
