Jose Fernández Sardiña

Jose Fernández Sardiña has a strong background in clinical data management and research. Jose has worked in various roles at different organizations. Since July 2022, Jose has been serving as the Associate Director of Data Management at TFS HealthScience, a Contract Research Organization. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Clinical Data Manager at the same company starting from May 2018. Before joining TFS HealthScience, Jose gained experience at The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust as a Clinical Database Programmer in the Clinical Research and Development department from May 2015 to May 2018. Jose also worked at Fundació Clínic per a la Recerca Biomèdica, where they held the position of Head of Clinical Data Management in the Biostatistics and Data Management Core Facility Platform. From January 2012 to September 2015, they managed the Clinical Data Management department and was responsible for the administration and management of the SQL Server and Windows Server 2011 environments. Prior to that, from January 2009 to January 2012, Jose worked as a Clinical Data Manager in the same department, specializing in the administration and management of databases and electronic data capture using the MACRO development environment.

Jose Fernández Sardiña pursued their education in various institutions. From 1996 to 1999, they attended IES Calamot and completed a 1st level degree in Electronics and Automation, focusing on technical auxiliary work. Continuing their education, from 1999 to 2004, they studied at Joan Brossa Institute, specializing in Computer Science and obtaining a 2nd level degree. Later, they enrolled at Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona from 2010 to 2013, where they successfully earned a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree. Jose'seducational journey continued at Udima Universidad a Distancia de Madrid, starting in 2015, where they are currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering Technology/Technician.
