Katelyn Rockenbach has extensive experience in the field of clinical research and project management. Katelyn started their career at the University of North Texas Health Science Center in 2012, where they served as a Project/Program Manager. In this role, they coordinated, managed, and monitored various clinical research projects, ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines and conducting data analysis. Katelyn also acted as an IRB Liaison and conducted motion analysis data collections.
Following their tenure at UNTHSC, Rockenbach worked as a Clinical Research Analyst & Research Manager at Texas Colon and Rectal Surgeon. Here, they developed and implemented clinical outcomes for multiple surgeons and hospitals in the north Texas region. Katelyn also planned and obtained IRB approval for research projects.
Rockenbach then joined Children's Health as a Clinical Research Scientist/Coordinator. In this role, they coordinated device and drug treatment research trials and observational studies. Katelyn was responsible for study set-up, implementation, fiscal monitoring, data collection/entry, grant applications, and manuscript writing. Katelyn also ensured compliance with regulations governing clinical research.
Katelyn later joined Baylor Scott & White Health as a Clinical Research Coordinator. Here, they managed and coordinated drug treatment and research trials, including Phase I to Phase IV studies. Katelyn performed duties such as managing research studies and subjects, study set-up, implementation, fiscal monitoring, data collection/entry, and sponsor communications. Katelyn emphasized compliance with institutional policies and regulatory requirements.
Rockenbach then joined Illingworth Research Group as a Research Nursing Project Coordinator, where they worked on coordinating research projects and nursing duties.
Katelyn subsequently held positions at ROM Technologies Inc and TOTAL Diversity Clinical Trial Management as a Clinical Research Manager and a Project Manager, respectively.
Most recently, Rockenbach has been working as a Project Manager at ICON Government and Public Health Solutions and TFS HealthScience - Contract Research Organization, providing project management expertise in the medical research field.
Throughout their career, Rockenbach has consistently demonstrated their skills in project management, research coordination, regulatory compliance, data analysis, and stakeholder communication.
Katelyn Rockenbach obtained a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Exercise Science/Pre Med from Indiana University of Pennsylvania - IUP. Katelyn pursued further education and earned a Master's degree in Kinesiology and Exercise Science with a concentration in Biomechanics from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.
