Chris Rowland, Ph.D. has a diverse work experience in the fields of research and development and academia. From 2018 to the present, they have been working at TG Therapeutics, Inc. Their roles include serving as the Director of Research & Development and previously as the Associate Director of Research & Development. Prior to that, from 2015 to 2018, they worked at Washington University in St. Louis as the Director of Operations. Their earlier experience includes being a Ph.D. Candidate at Duke University from 2009 to 2015, where they conducted innovative research in orthopedics and bioengineering, focusing on developing biomaterials for cartilage tissue regeneration. During this time, they made significant contributions to the field and presented at conferences and published several peer-reviewed articles. Chris also served as a Teaching Assistant in the Biomedical Engineering department at Duke University, earning recognition as the Most Outstanding Teaching Assistant in the department twice.

Starting in 2005, they enrolled at Duke University for their Bachelor of Science in Engineering (B.S.E.) degree, completing the program in 2009. Chris continued their studies at Duke, earning a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Biomedical Engineering from 2009 to 2013. In 2015, they successfully obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Biomedical Engineering from Duke University as well.
