Melissa Sorenson

Melissa Sorenson has over 20 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Melissa is currently working as an Associate Director of Key Accounts at TG Therapeutics, Inc. In their previous role at Genentech from 2016 to 2022, they served as a Therapeutic Area Manager and played a key role in the successful launch of Ocrevus. Melissa collaborated with various teams and partnered with patient advocacy groups. Prior to that, Melissa worked at Regeneron Pharmaceuticals, Inc. as a Medical Specialist from 2015 to 2016, where they were responsible for promoting Eylea to Retina Ophthalmologists. Melissa developed strong relationships with physicians and office managers. From 2012 to 2015, they worked at Biogen as an Area Business Manager and was in charge of managing a $90M multiple sclerosis portfolio. Melissa successfully launched Tecfidera and Plegridy during their tenure. At Takeda Pharmaceuticals from 2010 to 2012, Melissa was a Sales Representative and played a significant role in the launch of Edarbi and promoting Actos and Uloric to Cardiologists and Primary care physicians. Melissa achieved exceptional sales performance during this time. Melissa'scareer in the pharmaceutical industry began at Eli Lilly in 2000, where they worked for 9 years as a Senior Sales Representative. Melissa was involved in the launch of Cymbalta in Utah and Humalog in California, gaining valuable experience in mental health and diabetes. Throughout their career, Melissa has demonstrated strong leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills.

Melissa Sorenson earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Cellular Biology from The University of Kansas, completing their studies from 1993 to 1996.
